ISSUES BEFORE US
Pay heed to that feeling you have in in the pit of your stomach. Listen to that voice inside you that has been calling out. Something is wrong. Something is very wrong in the world and here at home.
The time for easy fixes is long gone, squandered away by our Congress and our
government leaders. All that is left for us are drastic changes, choices and hard decisions. It's not coincidental that many in Congress are pulling up stakes and running for the hills. They know what's coming and they don't want to be a part of it. And those that are trying to stay are being voted out by the Tea Party movement, American citizens who have awakened to what's taking place and are mad as hell and not going to take it anymore! If you haven't already done so, please consider joining your local tea party group and become an active vocal participant. And see if your neighbors would like to come along with you, as I think you'll be pleasantly surprised to learn most of them feel the same as you.
The fact is we have to drastically reduce the size of our federal, state and local governments.
Democrats and Republicans alike will be screaming to high heaven about saving their pet projects. Special interests will be filling the airwaves with propaganda trying to hold on to their hard fought victories and legislation on the books.
But I have faith in every hard working American out there, that they have had enough. That they are ready to do the heavy lifting, and the hard choices necessary to bring this nation away from the brink of economic and financial collapse, to fix our budget and our social programs once and for all, and to say to the rest of the world . . . We are
THE REPUBLIC OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND WE'RE NOT GOING AWAY.
Our beacon of freedom still shines as bright today, as it did in 1776, and we will do all that is necessary to preserve it.
You've already read my beliefs and where I stand on the issues. Now let's look at some of them in depth, along with something else the other political candidates for this seat don't have, as of this writing - SOLUTIONS. As stated elsewhere on this website, I believe in free thought and open discussion, and to get the ball rolling we need a starting point, which I am providing with some of my ideas.
