UNALIENABLE RIGHTS - SOVEREIGNTY
WE THE PEOPLE . . .
I happen to believe that we live in the greatest nation on Earth. Now maybe I'm a bit prejudiced because this land belongs to me. I own it. Yup! That's right. ME !! Oh, and
you own it as well. Pretty heady stuff when you stop and think about it. In fact, we are the only people on Earth, who own a country. Instead of forming a government ruled by a dictator, or classes or even a king, our Founding Fathers, formed a government and gave it to the people! Each of us became Sovereign, the final authority and the rulers over our own government.
The Founders built the foundation for this new government on Judeo-Christian beliefs and
and the rule of laws. They believed in God-Almighty and that He provided everyone with unalienable rights. God-given rights that could never be taken away. Our Founders based our laws on Natural Law, The Ten Commandments, The Magna Carta and English Common Law, and from this they composed our Bill of Rights as individuals and our U-S Constitution. And that became the basis for our new Republic, The United States of America.
THERE WAS NEVER ANY INTENT ON SEPARATING CHURCH AND STATE !!
While the majority of the Founders as well as the majority of the citizens in the colonies
were Christians, they were the first to rally around and fight for the rights of others to practice whatever religion they chose, including the right not to believe. The only separation they wanted to assure us of, was to see to it that there would be no "official" religion of the state.
There would be no endorsement or laws declaring a national religion, such as in other countries where the national church became an extension of the government to push through their agenda and adherence to their laws and dictates. The fact is, by default, our country was founded on Christian beliefs, has been influenced by Christian belief throughout its history and continues to this day for very good reason, as nearly 80 percent of our nation's citizens still believe in and follow the Christian tradition!
Meanwhile, Europe stood back smugly to see just how long our upstart Founder's government would last, under the direction of its own people. They called us the Grand Experiment. France always had a special interest in our fate, since they were the deciding force that completed our victory over England in our Revolutionary War. France's great political thinker and historian, Alex de Tocqueville, decided to come over in 1831 to see for himself just how well things were going for us, and wrote about it in his book, "Democracy in America". But even before that, word of this new land, governed by its own people, spread through out the world and immigrants began arriving on our shores to pursue their own lives, liberty and happiness, and America's legend grew.
When we finally emerged from the darkest moment in our history in 1865, managed to survive not only the Civil War, but the assassination of our President, and coming out still
united, France conceived the idea for a Statue of Liberty as a Centennial gift, and in 1884 presented us with Lady Liberty, whose beacon of light became synonymous with the light of liberty and freedoms that beckoned to all. And you know, I think we've lived up to the hype, pretty well ever since. And I'm damn proud of that fact.
A lesser known fact about Lady Liberty ... the sculptor, Frederick Bartoli, was said to have fashioned the face of Liberty after his mother's face, so in essence, it's been Frederick
Bartoli's mother who has for all these years been welcoming the huddled masses to America and Ellis Island!
But, I've become seriously concerned over our country's current course of direction as well
as worried over the Republic's very survival. I mean that sincerely.
As I've already mentioned elsewhere on this website, we have become completely dependent on our enemies for not only our financial lifeline and our way of life, but the energy to keep our economy and military going. All it would take would be for one to pull the plug, or a coordinated effort to pull all the plugs. Yet we sit by idle for decades doing nothing about it.
We also have enemies who have or nearly have nuclear weapons, and anyone who knows about EMPs (electro-magnetic-pulse) knows all it will take is for someone, without need for any sophisticated guidance system, to lob one anywhere into our atmosphere and we will lose all our electricity, computers and technology for upwards to a year! No communications, no cars or trucks, no refrigerators, stoves or food and water. Go directly back to the 1800s, do not pass Go. But we would be much worse off than the people of the 1800s, because those people knew how to be self reliant; self-sufficient; knew how to provide for their families and how to survive. The majority of America today does not. And yet we're just standing by watching them build their nukes, knowing full well their intent. Just the crude makings of a dirty bomb, placed in a city could kill thousands and render a city uninhabitable for decades. Unfortunately, the results of an EMP detonation would end up causing millions of Americans to die!
Now we have millions of people invading our country across our southern border, and again we just sit and watch them cross, never entertaining the thought that there could be something more sinister underway, under the guise of looking for work. We are currently the only nation on Earth not enforcing our immigration laws, not protecting our people's safety and in doing so, putting our Republic's very sovereignty at risk.
We are living in a dangerous time with the possibility of a catastrophic event closer than most of us are willing to admit. And it could come at any time and from a wide variety of sources but all leading to the same cruel ultimate question...of survival, both as an individual and as a nation.
And if all that is not bad enough, there is now a serious and well organized movement underway within this country to replace our form of government with a secular socialist one that will become part of a international governing body. And no one asks the question, under whose control? And perhaps most importantly no one has asked for our permission !!!
As a friend of mine recently said, "We were all busy with our own lives and families, just trying to get by and survive, that we never noticed."
I was in the "watchdog" business, and yet I wasn't connecting the dots, for I was saddled, too, with the same thing my friend was talking about. I did notice that things were deteriorating and that politics was getting more cut-throat. But it wasn't until I retired in 2001
and had more time to devote to it, that I began to see things I didn't like. A pure hatred and evil had developed in our political system and through its rhetoric it had transcended down to the people of both political parties. And instead of trying to quell it, its participants were eagerly pouring fuel onto the fire. Now, finally, the true intent emerges and rises to the surface for all to see . . . an attempt by many to rip control of this government away from its people and turn it into a secular-socialist state whose ambition is to take control of the people.
WE THE PEOPLE...
If you are as unhappy as I am in regards to the direction our country is headed...If you are worried over our indebtedness and our economy on the brink of Depression or worse...If you are mad as hell and want this merry-go-round to stop - Remember this:
It's your country. You own it. You have the power to change all of this. And just like owning anything, like a puppy for example, you occasionally have to go in and clean up its messes! Or in this case, go in and clean out the trouble-makers. And whenever and wherever, slam their asses in prison! As a fellow journalist out of Orlando said in an e-mail that's been circulating the country for months now....its 535 of them VS 300,000,000 of us.
Your Founding Fathers created this country and handed it over to you, 234 years ago. It's about time we start accepting our responsibility to hold on to it and protect it. That's why "they" want the Constitution destroyed. That's why "they" want religion removed. They're fighting to take your country away from you and they're playing hardball to get it.
It was the PEOPLE in the colonies, who declared their Independence, and a Revolutionary War that ended with the creation of 13 separate sovereign nation states, who then gave birth to the idea of a United States of America, and with it the creation of a central government
intentionally kept on a short leash, to protect against the usurping of the rights, liberty and freedoms of the people, guaranteed by the U-S Constitution.. NOT the other way around, as our Federal Government would have us to believe in its actions today.
WE ELECT CONGRESS TO REPRESENT US. YET WE CURRENTLY HAVE A CONGRESS THAT IS DICTATING TO US, PASSING LEGISLATION WE DON'T WANT AND REFUSING TO ANSWER OUR PHONE CALLS, E-MAILS, OR RESPECTING THE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS WHO ARE NOW PROTESTING IN THE STREETS AND MARCHING ON WASHINGTON. INSTEAD, THEY ATTACK THE VERY PEOPLE THAT PUT THEM INTO OFFICE, CALLING US EXTREMISTS, ANTI-GOVERNMENT AND UNAMERICAN. If this isn't the pot calling the kettle, black!
Well I got news for you, buster, the people who really own this country are now wide awake
and they see you for what you are. And we're coming after you!
Some people say I wear my Patriotism on my sleeve, and that's alright by me. Here are
a couple of songs that I haven't heard since I was a kid in school, singing them. Maybe
that's true for you, too. But I can't think of a better time to listen to them again then right now and this time really listen to the words
