MY BELIEFS AT A GLANCE

I believe in, am a member of and support the Tea Party Patriot Movement!

I believe in, am a member of and support the values and principles of the 9/12 Project!

I believe in, and support the mission statement of OathKeepers!

I believe in the vision the founding fathers had for this great land.

I believe in the Judeo-Christian heritage and the rule of law that our Republic was based upon.

I believe that religion can not and should not be separated from the history of this country

           nor its government.

I believe that there was never intended to be any separation of religion from our government

           other than the intended exclusion of declaring a national religion. Our founders

           believed your freedoms allowed you to choose and follow any religion you liked,

           including not to follow any religion at all.  

I believe in ALL the words in the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights and the U-S

           Constitution...and believe every word still rings true.

I believe that our Constitution is NOT a living, breathing document and subject to the whims

           of a changing culture.           

I believe these documents to be sacred and to be protected at all costs.

I believe that any attempts to circumvent, alter or ignore the letter or intent of the Constitution

           is a violation of the oath of office and is punishable by impeachment and possible

           criminal action.

I believe that any judge who ignores Constitutional Law in his rulings and instead legislates

           his personal social agenda from the bench, should be impeached and removed from the

           bench.

I believe the biggest threat facing this country is two-fold.  First, its the debt problem

            and our financial solvency which jeopardizes our Republic's very existence.

            Second, our energy emergency- power plants running at capacity and a

            gerry-rigged power grid that can't handle any more, coupled with our

            dependence on foreign oil, which also jeopardizes our Republic's existence.

            Put another way, our financial lifeline and our way of life are in the hands

            of China, a communist country and potential future enemy of ours, while

            our dependence on foreign oil, and with it the on-off switch to our economic

            engine and military strength, is in the hands of our Middle Eastern and

            Venezuelan enemies.  Put more bluntly,  this is how our Congress honors its

            oath of office, over the past 50 years of inaction!

I believe that our economy and with it, JOBS, is directly tied to that above and that

            dealing with that above, will solve this equally most pressing and

            important issue.  For the first time ever- putting us on solid financial ground

            will free up our credit markets completely and exclusively for the private

            sector, and with the government no longer drinking from the same well, it will

            encourage businesses and companies to go forward with confidence, to

            grow and hire again.  By opening up exploration and tapping into old energy

            sources as well as new ones, building new nuclear power plants and rebuilding

            our power grid, it will open up endless jobs for the skilled as well the unskilled

            in a starving labor force.

I believe we need principled leaders, brave enough to admit that we are in a war against

            a people whose ideology of world domination and submission is a direct and real

            threat to our own way of life that believes in liberty and the freedom of all individuals.

I believe we need to remove the blinders of political correctness and see this threat for what it is.

I believe we should change our rules of engagement so that our armed forces can be allowed

            to prosecute war to a swift and decisively complete victory.

I believe that any nation which harbors our enemy and gives them comfort and safety should

            know the gravity of the consequences they bring upon themselves.

I believe Iran is interfering with Iraq and Afghanistan and is responsible for the deaths of

            American, coalition and NATO forces.

I believe Iran is responsible for and a supporter of the majority of terrorist activities in the world

            today with their proxy armies of Hezbollah and Hamas, that have sleeper cells not

            only all around the world, but here inside the U-S, and there is evidence that they

            are coming into our country using the Mexican border!

I believe Iran financially supports and provides military support to both Al-Queda and the Taliban

            and provides "safe harbor" for both.   ...and its for this reason...

I ABSOLUTELY believe that Iran should never acquire nuclear weapons and not only is a

            pre-emptive strike called for, but it should be done as soon as possible.

I believe the Iranian people have "signaled" numerous times that they want a change

            but they're just not strong enough to pull it off themselves, and not only

            want but deserve our assistance in getting the job done and allowing freedom to

            flourish, just as its doing in Iraq.       ...and again for these reasons...

I believe that we should not leave Iraq and Afghanistan until the issue with Iran is resolved.

            It would be sheer idiocy to remove our troops from Iran's western border, Iran's

            eastern border, as well as our naval force along Iran's southern border,

            which allows for the element of surprise to once again enter the military picture.

I believe finally, that it should be us that goes in to take out their nuclear facilities rather

            than Israel, since it would give us control over the time and place.

I believe we should be a country who says what it means and means what it says.

I believe in diplomacy ...with a clock attached to it.

I believe that deadlines are just that -deadlines, and they come with consequences.

I believe that any military action if called upon, should be swift, complete and decisive.

I believe that's called deterrence!

I believe that it's absurd for nearly half of the people in this country to be getting a free ride

            and not paying any taxes.  Everyone is benefiting from living in this free country

            with all its protections and freedoms so everyone should have skin in the game.

I believe in a flat tax.  Not a fair tax that can easily be manipulated and not a VAT tax that will

            cause the price of everything to skyrocket, placing undue burden on the elderly.

I believe in a flat 10% income tax for individuals, with the first $20,000 tax free for everyone.          I believe in a flat 15% income tax on net income for businesses. This is NOT an addition to

            the income tax, but rather a REPLACEMENT to the federal income tax along with

            other cumbersome federal taxes.

I believe we have a national security issue at our southern border, and that happens to be one

            of the few responsibilities our founding fathers gave our federal government as spelled

            out in our founding documents.

I believe the failure of controlling our borders and protecting our citizens is a violation of the

            oath of office for those government leaders responsible.

I believe that a physical border control fence needs to be constructed immediately before any

            other issues connected with this are addressed.

I believe that our border patrol should be backed up with armed national guardsmen with orders

            to stop any and all illegal entry, backing up the meaning of that fence!

I believe then, and only then, when the border is secure, that we deal with the illegal aliens

            already here.

I believe that because we are a nation of laws, that all illegal aliens should and must go back

            across the border.  There is no other choice in the matter.  Period.

I believe that businesses, companies and individuals who employ illegal aliens should and

            must be punished severely enough to act as a deterrent..

I believe that those illegal's who do not go back voluntarily, should be rounded up and fined

            or spend time in jail before being sent back across the border.

I believe that once all illegal's are back across the border, then and only then, should we

            talk of a new guest worker program, providing bio-metric picture IDs.

I believe that man-made global warming is an absolute scam of the highest magnitude,

            perpetrated against the people of the world, to scare the hell out of them so they

            agree to things they would never consider, otherwise.  It's an international effort

            to distribute the wealth, your wealth, into the pockets of special interests, politicians

            and private individuals, who are forcing us away from our Constitution and into a

            transnational form of centralized world government.

I believe that ethanol is another special interest scam and that its morally reprehensible to

            be removing more than 33% of the nation's corn crop from the world's food supply

            just to make a few people happy and pad the pockets of special interests.  It makes

            no dent in the demand for gasoline, and can only compete through heavy government

            subsidy.  The fact is that it is causing food products and meat to skyrocket affecting

            every family's food budget, the poor and the elderly worst of all.

I believe that the country's public school system problems are directly tied to this country's

            poverty problem and solving the one will go a long way toward solving the other.

            It's not about money or facilities.  The problem is more deeply rooted and we need

            to go back 60 years to when education WAS working, and revisit the major changes

            that were made back then, that was responsible for the train jumping the tracks.             I believe that our current educational system failures to be a National Security threat and should                be treated as such, since America's future rests in the hands of today's children.  

I believe there is a progressive movement underway in both political parties to bring this country

            into a European style of socialist government with a goal of a transnational world

            governance,  which would do away with our Constitution, and with it our individual

            sovereignty and the freedoms it gives us.  Recent actions by our government to

            take control over banking, wall street, insurance, auto industry, healthcare and higher

            education, while attempting to pass legislation on energy, cap and trade, restrictions  

            on radio/TV along with total control over the Internet is truly frightening.  The fact that it                 is all happening at light-speed, with no one actually reading the bills being passed is                    equally chilling.  Pay attention to these latest attempts at controlling radio/TV and

            the Internet as communication sources are always the first targets in any government

            takeover. Read your history.         

I believe in congressional term limits and retirement age restrictions.

I believe it would go a long way toward removing all the dead wood and age-induced

            incompetence.

I believe it should be a sacred honor to serve the people as their representative and NOT

            a place to gain undue power through longevity alone.

I believe 12 years total is enough time to get your message across and pass meaningful

            legislation, in any House/Senate combination thereof.

I believe there should be a mandatory retirement age for members of the Supreme Court.
